The apartment is well positioned and the views are amazing. We enjoyed the balcony on the sunny evenings and it got the sun until around 10 pm. The apartment contains all the essentials and more and we were impressed by the layout. It was very comfortable and had all you needed to have a great holiday. Our young daughter enjoyed exploring the views in the bedrooms and living area and there was a window seat which had the sun shining in most if the day and a view if the mountains and fire station, which our daughter also enjoyed. There was a lovely walk nearby and the main street was 2 minutes walk away which had many shops, a bank with ATM, take aways and bars and restaurants. There is a lovely playpark 5 minutes walk away which our daughter really loved. Glenties is a beautiful town within driving distance to many beautiful scenic spots such as slieve league and many blue flag beaches such as Narin, Fintra bay and Carrickfinn. You can also visit other towns such as Donegal town and Dungloe. We went to Narin beach everyday and even saw dolphins jumping in the water one morning. Our daughter loved splashing in the water and we had a swim. We enjoyed walking along the beach and it has virtually no stones or seaweed and the water is very clear. You can park close to the beach and can wheel the buggy along the sand, there is a toilet at the beach also. We went to killybegs for lunch one day and the fish and chips were delicious and we enjoyed a walk along the seafront and saw all the fishing boats. All in all the accommodation was outstanding and we would recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful holiday in beautiful surroundings. There is plenty to do nearby to keep you occupied for as long as you want to stay.
