The Cottage is absolutely beautiful & is in a beautiful location. Hilary & Howard who own the property are just the most loveliest people. Hilary made my daughter & I welcome from the very beginning & when we realised she was horsey like us it was just perfect ! We love The Cottage as you're in the countryside with views out to the sea, but are so close to Dublin & Dundrum for shopping, theatre & cinema. We are already looking at when we can go back.
Very calm and not far from Dublin. The cottage is very romantic and beautiful view. It was nice having breakfast outside.
Wonderfull cottage, Great Location.
Comfortable, well equipped cottage with great view and welcoming hosts.
It was a lovely little place and Hilary was so welcoming. Thank you!

Proximity to family/friends and also the mix of a town/country holiday.
Great Location, beautiful surroundings. Lovely, helpful owner! The cottage was beautiful too! Overall a lovely stay!
The house and views were just stunning, and more than lived up to their description on your website. we would use your service again, thank you.
It was just my perfect place to stay! Sweet romantic cottage with all the comforts, very nice welcoming people, short way to sightseeing points and shopping, at the same time located in beautiful countryside. My family and I would have loved to stay forever!
The cottage had a lovely and peaceful location overlooking Dublin Bay, and was in close proximity to the LUAS, and delightful owners who really care about you enjoying your stay in Ireland. Highly recommended!
The Cottage was such a find; we couldn't recommend it enough! It was just as pretty and quaint as the photos on the website show. Clean, bright and airy, with modern yet rustic-feeling country furnishings and equipped with everything you could possibly need - and more! Hilary and Howard, who live just next door, were so welcoming and helpful. We knew they were near at hand if we needed them, but they didn't intrude at all during our stay. The goodies we found in the fridge and cupboards (milk, orange juice, bottled water, jam cereal, bread, tea/coffee/sugar, cake(!)) were such a nice touch, not to mention the fresh flowers in the kitchen and bedrooms. The bathroom offered more than enough fresh white towels, as well as miniature shampoo, shower gel etc, which I wouldn't necessarily have expected from a self-catering property. The only very minor point I would mention is that the shower pressure isn't great. But I felt the constant supply of hot water and the blow heater more than made up for that slight inconvenience! Location-wise, we found Kilternan to be an excellent base for both trips into Dublin - we used the Luas tram line, which left from nearby Carrickmines Park & Ride - and down into Wicklow. There was plenty of sightseeing information in the visitor pack provided, and the free wifi access meant we could look up details online as well. All in all, we felt The Cottage was a lovely relaxing place to wake up in every morning and to return to at night after a days touring and sightseeing. It is suitable for couples of all ages, and, since there is another single room and option for a cot in the main bedroom, those with 1 or two young children.
A very nice, comfortable cottage with spectacular views; it was far enough away from the city to be peaceful and quiet, yet you could be in Dun Laoghaire in 15 minutes by car, or at the Luas connection in 10.
